I had my aortic valve replaced seven years ago. The doctor used a “Cow Valve” to replace my calcified aortic valve. The operation lasted 5 hours. I was up walking the next day. I was then moved to a regular room on the third day and send home on the forth day. All my experience has been very positive. Recovery was not very difficult. Followed the recommended cardio therapy. I am 76 and doing very well.
